The article analyzes the current state of agrotourism in the Republic of Uzbekistan and its future development prospects. The author considers agrotourism as a sector that combines agriculture, ecology, culture and economy. The possibilities of achieving regional development through modernization of rural infrastructure, increasing employment of the local population and attracting foreign tourists are highlighted. The article also conducts a comparative analysis with international experience and proposes organizational, legal and economic mechanisms necessary for the effective establishment of agrotourism in the conditions of Uzbekistan.
