Abstract

This paper investigates the use of artificial intelligence, particularly ChatGPT, as a tool for teaching English to young learners. As technology becomes more integrated into education, AI-powered tools offer novel approaches to enhance language acquisition at an early age. The study examines how ChatGPT can support language learning by providing personalized, interactive, and engaging language practice. Initial implementation in classroom settings suggests that ChatGPT can effectively complement traditional teaching methods by offering instant feedback, adaptive learning, and fostering motivation. However, challenges such as maintaining attention spans and ensuring balanced human interaction remain. The findings indicate that when used appropriately, AI-powered tools have the potential to significantly improve early English language teaching.
