Mazkur maqola fotosintezning qorong‘ulik bosqichida plastida pigmentlarining o‘rni va ta’sirini o‘rganishga bag‘ishlangan. Qorong‘ulik bosqichi asosan karbon dioksidning qand moddalarga aylanishi bilan bog‘liq bo‘lib, bu jarayon kalvin sikli orqali amalga oshadi. Maqolada plastida pigmentlarining bu jarayondagi roli, ularning karbon fiksatsiyasiga ta’siri va fermentativ reaksiyalarni rag‘batlantirishdagi ahamiyati ilmiy asosda ko‘rib chiqiladi.
