Abstract

This research examines identity formation and modernization processes in the contemporary Turkic world from the perspective of language policy. The language policies implemented by Turkic states in the post-independence period reveal the dynamic relationship between national identity construction and globalization. The study evaluates the sociocultural impacts of language reforms in Turkey, Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan, and Kazakhstan through comparative analysis. Research findings demonstrate that language policy is not merely a communication tool but a fundamental element of national consciousness and cultural authenticity construction. The strategic role of language in shaping modern Turkic identity is emphasized, and future projections are presented.
