Abstract

This article examines the importance of musical activities in the  upbringing and holistic development of children with special educational needs.  Music is considered as an effective pedagogical tool that contributes to  children’s emotional, cognitive, communicative and social development. The  article highlights the potential of singing, listening to music, rhythmic exercises, 
playing musical instruments and creative musical activities to support  children’s self-expression, attention, memory, coordination and interpersonal communication.
