Premature ovarian insufficiency (POI), defined by impaired ovarian activity before 40 years of age, represents a multisystem diagnosis rather than an isolated fertility disorder. Its consequences involve hypoestrogenism, intermittent ovarian function, impaired reproductive autonomy, skeletal vulnerability, cardiometabolic risk, and substantial psychosocial burden. Objective: To critically integrate contemporary evidence regarding reproductive, metabolic, and cardiovascular sequelae of POI, and to assess how real-world evidence and computational tools may improve longitudinal care.
