CURRENT CHALLENGES AND SOLUTIONS OF TECHNOLOGY INTEGRATION IN EFL CLASSROOMS

The rapid development of digital technologies has considerably transformed English language teaching and learning, especially in the area of vocabulary acquisition. Innovative technologies such as mobile applications, artificial intelligence, multimedia resources, gamified learning platforms, virtual learning environment and online collaborative tools have created new opportunities for enhancing vocabulary instruction. Despite numerous benefits of technology integration, EFL educators continue face various challenges, including inadequate technological infrastructure, limited digital competence among teachers and unequal access to technological tools. This thesis aims to investigate the current challenges associated with technology integration in EFL vocabulary teaching and to propose practical solutions for overcoming these barriers. Also, it gives significant conclusion that innovative technologies can substantially improve vocabulary learning outcomes when they are strategically integrated into the teaching process.
