Abstract

This article analyzes the morphological basis of epithelial remodeling in polyposis rhinosinusitis, addressing structural changes in the upper airway epithelium, mechanisms triggering these alterations, and pathogenic factors shaping the disease progression. Detailed descriptions of the anatomy of the nasal cavity, paranasal sinuses, histological architecture of the respiratory epithelium, and vascular features are provided. Definitions of polyposis, sinusitis, and rhinosinusitis are clarified. Etiology, clinical manifestations, complications, and modern diagnostic methods are discussed based on scientific data derived from Uzbek medical literature.
