Abstract

Social intelligence has become an increasingly significant construct in  educational research due to its substantial influence on interpersonal communication,  collaborative learning, emotional regulation, and professional competence. As  education shifts toward learner-centered and competency-based approaches, social  intelligence is recognized as an essential attribute for both educators and students. This  paper examines the theoretical foundations of social intelligence by reviewing its  historical evolution, major conceptual frameworks, and multidimensional  structure.
