PROJECT MANAGEMENT IN THE CONTEXT OF ECONOMIC TRANSFORMATION

The article examines the specifics of project management under conditions of economic transformation driven by digitalization, structural change, and a shift toward more flexible models of organizational governance. It is shown that traditional waterfall methodologies do not always provide the speed and adaptability required under the high uncertainty typical of transformation processes, which explains the growing popularity of Agile and hybrid approaches. Based on an analysis of current international data, the key success factors of project activity are systematized, including organizational maturity, the development of managerial competencies (notably business acumen and communication skills), and the integration of artificial intelligence tools into project processes. Practical recommendations are formulated for improving the effectiveness of project management under conditions of ongoing economic transformation.
