Hissiy intellekt (EI) boshqaruv samaradorligi va tashkilot muvaffaqiyatiga ta'sir qiluvchi muhim omil sifatida paydo bo'ldi. An'anaviy boshqaruv nazariyalari qaror qabul qilishda ratsionallik va kognitiv intellektga urg'u bergan; ammo, zamonaviy tadqiqotlar shaxslararo munosabatlar va yetakchilik natijalarini shakllantirishda hissiyotlarning ahamiyatini ta'kidlaydi. Ushbu tezis boshqaruv qarorlarini qabul qilishda hissiy intellektning rolini o'rganadi, menejerlarning his-tuyg'ularni idrok etish, tushunish, tartibga solish va ulardan foydalanish qobiliyati ularning qarorlarining sifati va samaradorligiga qanday ta'sir qilishiga e'tibor qaratadi. Tavsifli va analitik tadqiqot yondashuvidan foydalangan holda, tadqiqot hissiy intellekt va boshqaruv qarorlarini qabul qilish o'rtasidagi bog'liqlikni aniqlash uchun mavjud adabiyotlar va empirik topilmalarni o'rganadi.
