This article analyzes the role and prospects of Uzbek language education in the formation of spiritual maturity of youth. Theoretical and practical mechanisms for strengthening the spiritual and moral potential of youth through Uzbek language lessons based on national-cultural values, unity of language and thought, competency-based approach, experience of developed countries and modern methodological technologies are highlighted. The results of the study show that Uzbek language education is the main driver in the formation of national identity, patriotism, social responsibility and cultural communication skills in the minds of young people.
