Abstract

This article explores the role of social factors in shaping the language used by political leaders in their public speeches. It examines how elements such as culture, ideology, class, gender, media influence, and audience expectations affect the linguistic choices, rhetoric, and communication strategies of political figures. The study draws upon theories of sociolinguistics, discourse analysis, and political communication to understand how language serves as a tool of persuasion, identity construction, and power assertion. The research demonstrates that the language of political leaders is never neutral it reflects underlying social realities and is consciously shaped to appeal to diverse audiences while maintaining authority and credibility.
