This work investigates the development of multifunctional smart nanocoatings with light-emitting, antibacterial, and self-cleaning properties based on nanocomposite systems. The study focuses on polymer nanocomposites functionalized with carbon quantum dots and other nanofillers, analyzing their optical activity, antimicrobial performance, and surface self-cleaning mechanisms. The obtained results demonstrate that these materials exhibit high-intensity photoluminescence, stable antibacterial activity, and effective self-cleaning behavior. Such nanocoatings are considered promising for applications in biomedical, industrial, and environmentally safe surface protection technologies.
