EXPLORING NON-ABLATIVE LASER THERAPY IN THE COMPREHENSIVE MANAGEMENT OF INFANTILE HEMANGIOMAS
- 1. Department of Plastic Surgery, Tashkent Medical Academy, Tashkent, Uzbekistan.
Description
Infantile hemangiomas, which are common vascular tumors in infants, often require medical treatment to prevent complications and promote healthy skin development. Non-ablative laser therapy has become an effective and minimally invasive option in the management of these lesions. Unlike ablative lasers, which remove tissue layers, non-ablative lasers target deeper layers, reducing vascular growth without damaging the skin's surface. This article examines the role of non-ablative laser therapy in the comprehensive treatment of infantile hemangiomas, discussing its mechanisms, benefits, challenges, and its integration with other therapeutic approaches.
